The Escrow Program
Every SOL stake flows through one Solana program. Here is the exact money path, instruction by instruction.
Lifecycle
Initialize
ActiveThe house creates an escrow PDA tied to the match ID. Minimum entry fee and max players (2–10) are set. The escrow is a Program Derived Address — deterministic and controlled by the program, not any wallet.
Deposit
ActivePlayers deposit SOL into the PDA. Each player must meet the minimum entry fee. No duplicate deposits. The house authority is blocked from depositing — it cannot play in its own escrow.
Lock
LockedWhen the match begins, the authority locks the escrow. Requires at least 2 players. No more deposits accepted. Funds are frozen until the match resolves.
Prize Distribution
ClosedAuthority triggers prize distribution to the verified winner. The program calculates the prize pool, deducts the 5% fee, and transfers 95% to the winner. Escrow account is closed and rent returned.
Cancel & Refund
ClosedThe authority can cancel at any point (Active or Locked). Every player gets 100% of their entry fee back — no fee deducted on cancellation. Account is closed.
Timeout Refund
ClosedIf an escrow sits unresolved for 6 hours, anyone can trigger a permissionless refund. All players get 100% back. No match can hold funds hostage.
Provably Fair
You compete against players, not against a house wallet. Here is how trust is removed from settlement.
Skill-Based Outcomes
Winners are determined by in-game performance. No RNG, no house edge on odds, no algorithm influencing results. The best player wins.
Fixed 5% Fee
A flat 5% is taken from the prize pool. Hardcoded in the Solana program — cannot change without a redeploy. No hidden fees, no spread, no rake scaling.
No House Advantage
We don’t participate in matches. We don’t compete against you. We collect the same 5% regardless of who wins. Our incentive is fair matches, not rigged ones.
Non-Custodial Funds
Funds sit in a PDA controlled by the smart contract — not a wallet we own. The program only allows payout to winner, refund on cancel, or refund on timeout. There is no withdraw function.
Authority Can’t Play
The house wallet is explicitly blocked from depositing. The program enforces an AuthorityCannotPlay check — the house has zero financial interest in match outcomes.
6-Hour Safety Net
Every escrow has a creation timestamp. If 6 hours pass without resolution, anyone can trigger claim_expired_refund. All players get 100% back. No match can trap your SOL.
On-Chain Verifiable
Every deposit, lock, payout, and refund is a signed transaction on Solana mainnet. Verify any operation on a block explorer. The program source matches deployed bytecode.

FAQ & Support
Fast answers to the most common issues.
Wallet won't connect or keeps spinning?
Make sure your Privy session is active (sign in first), then reopen the wallet modal. Mobile: use an in-app browser that supports Solana deep links (Phantom/Solflare).
Wrong network showing?
We only support the network defined in your env (e.g., solana:mainnet). If you see the wrong network, the envs didn't load—refresh after redeploy, or hard-reload to clear a stale bundle.
Deposit transaction fails or is rejected?
Check you have enough SOL for the entry fee plus fees. If you closed the wallet modal, reopen and retry. If the signature was sent but UI didn't update, refresh—the escrow poller will reconcile.
Stuck on 'Need 2 deposits' after paying?
The page polls the escrow every 15s. Click 'Sync Deposits' (if shown) or hard refresh. You can also verify your signature on Solana Explorer; once confirmed, it will appear automatically.
Game won't load after joining?
Confirm your Privy login is still active and your wallet is connected. Then click 'Enter Game' again. If running adblockers or VPN, whitelist the game and websocket domains.

Ping support with your match ID, wallet address, and signature. We can check the escrow on-chain and trigger the correct resolution or refund flow.
